Thanks a lot for this! Is there going to be a native arm64 or "universal" build for FileZilla, you think? I can't believe Universal came back to the lexicon PPC -> Intel and now Intel -> aarch64 LOL. Usual caveats with untested builds applies, I don't promise this won't set your dog on fire and turn the sun into a black hole or cause diabetes, etc. If you don't want to bother with all that, I uploaded the version I made here (using itself, of course): ![]() Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of Midnight Commander. Midnight Commander alternatives are mainly File Managers but may also be FTP Clients or File Renamers. FTP, SFTP, Amazon S3, OpenStack Swift, Microsoft Azure, OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, you name it. Other interesting Mac alternatives to Midnight Commander are GNOME Files, Thunar, Forklift and ranger. This lightweight but versatile app offers reliable support for various file transfer protocols and cloud services. I had to do that with libidn.12.dylib, libfilezilla.12.dylib, and libwx_osx_cocoau_adv-3.0.0.5.0.dylib. The last macOS FTP client on our list is Cyberduck. All you have to do to work around it is copy the file that's causing it to crash to another directory, sign it there, delete the original file, and then move the signed copy back in. ![]() Get the not-for-profit-backed browser on Windows, Mac or Linux. Download Mozilla Firefox for Mac, a free web browser. ![]() FileZilla is a cross-platform FTP, SFTP and FTPS client with a large number of functions, supporting Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, etc. Built with no issues at all, the only tricky bit was working around an extremely annoying code signing bug (it's happened to me before) which will cause codesign_allocate to crash. FileZilla Client is a fast and reliable cross-platform FTP, FTPS and SFTP client with lots of useful features and an intuitive graphical user interface.I suggest FileZilla, but if you don’t like that, you can use a FileZilla alternative as well.Out of curiosity I tried making an arm64 build of FileZilla myself and it works perfectly fine using homebrew for the dependencies (except for libfilezilla of course) and the latest svn trunk source code. You will need an FTP client on your Mac for this. If that’s happening with you, or if you don’t want to use Snapdrop for any reason, you can use FTP to share files between Android and macOS. Sometimes, at least for me, Snapdrop refuses to work properly. Plus, it’s the closest thing to AirDrop I’ve seen so far. It works quite fast, it’s completely free, and you don’t need to install any apps on your devices. Firefox is fast on Mac because we don’t track your moves. With the release of the M1 chip and Mac models powered by its variations, all macOS apps developed for Intel Macs needed to be updated to run natively on M1 Macs. You can click on your Android phone’s name on your Mac screen and choose the files you want to send to your phone.
